Elanco’s Tru Vaccine
BRAND GUIDELINES
Elanco is the global leader in animal health and is dedicated to innovating and delivering productions to help make your pet’s wellness visit a happier experience. To provide an easier experience for veterinarians, Elanco rebranded their canine and feline vaccines to be easier to understand, with packaging that is easier to read, calling it TruCan and TruFel.
Once the logos were created, I established rules and guidelines for the brand’s new identity. Working with the design team at Organic, we created an extensive brand guideline with a brand detailer that informed veterinarians of the new name and packaging.
The Tru brand is playful and progressive with graphic elements that use angles inspired by the Elanco logo, while the smile is derived from the Tru logo and is the brand’s most recognizable element. The graphic elements can bring attention to delightful movements that signal our pet’s happiness.
