What’s with the bee?

The honey bee is essential to me as it represents my granny bear. Her name was Evelyn Beatrice Davis, but everyone called her Bea. She was as sweet as honey with a pitch-black 6” beehive hairstyle. When you asked her where she was going, her response was always “Crazy.”

At the end of her memorial service, when we laid her to rest, the clouds opened up, the sun shined on us, and suddenly, we were all surrounded by bees! As my family swarmed them away, I took in the moment and cherished it, and when I see a bee stop by for a visit, I always say hi to Granny.
